I'm Katie, a content creator and copywriter who most recently worked at an EdTech company based in New York City. Before writing professionally, I was an English teacher and tutor for over a decade.
I started my screenwriting career in 2020 and my work continues to get recognized by festivals and contests in the business. My pilot script, “Positives,” was a semifinalist for the Sundance Episodic Lab and ScreenCraft’s Screenwriting Fellowship in 2021, as well as a quarterfinalist for Final Draft’s Big Break competition in 2022. It remains in the top 9% of discoverable projects on Coverfly. My short film script, “Paid Professional,” and feature film script, “Widowed,” have also won multiple awards.

In my most recent position at EdTech company Level All, I wrote about a range of topics for teens and their families, distilling down all kinds of topics: the science behind consumer behavior, energy management, choosing a college major, and developing a fitness routine.
